Faith Formation

What We Offer

Welcome to Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish Faith Formation Program. You will find something for any age.


Children's Liturgy - Sundays at the 10:30 AM Mass. Before entering into the liturgy of the word, children are invited to go downstairs and break open the word, sing songs, and participate in activities. The children return for the liturgy of the Eucharist.


Whole Community - Fridays once a month 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.  This is a Family Faith Formation Program.  Students attend grade level class and parents stay for an adult presentation.  Please see below or click the Whole Community tab for more information.


Homeschool Program - Families may register for our grade level homeschool program for Faith Formation. 

St. Thomas provides approved curriculum and parents are responsible for teaching the lessons.  Homeschool work is to be turned in during the summer, for students to advance to the next grade level.


Sacramental Preparation - Students in grade 2 prepare for the sacrament of First Reconciliation.   Students in grade 3 prepare for the sacraments of First Communion & Confirmation.  These classes are in addition to grade level Faith Formation (Whole Community or Homeschool or Catholic School).  Sacramental preparation classes are offered on Sunday Mornings from 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM.  First Reconciliation (6 weeks in fall) First Communion & Confirmation (10 weeks in the spring).  There is no homeschool option for sacramental preparation.


Middle School Ministry - Open to students in grades 6-8.  MSM typically meets two Tuesdays a month from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.  This program incorporates Faith Formation, Services projects and Parish & Community Events - all while having fun and making friends!


High School Youth Group - Open to students in grades 9-12.  HSYG typically meets two Wednesdays a month from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.  This program incorporates Faith Formation, Service projects, Parish & Community Events.  HSYG students also have the option to participate in the Mission Trip every July.

OCIA - The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults - If you are not a Catholic (or have received baptism in the Catholic church), and would like to learn more about Catholicism and becoming a Catholic in need of completing our Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist or Confirmation). This program is for you. There a no commitments or obligations required, only questions answered and information shared. OCIA is a gradual process that takes place within the community of the faithful. The length of time of the process varies according to individual need, experience, readiness, and commitment. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Kristen Sweet at 603-260-6818 for further information.


Adult Confirmation - If you or someone you know has not made their confirmation and has some Faith Formation background, we would love to have you in our Adult Confirmation program.
