We are the faith community of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Derry, New Hampshire, dedicated to continuing the mission of Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic tradition. We proclaim the Good News, using our time, talent and treasure to reach the new, the wandering, the poor and the unloved. United in God, we are committed to growth in faith through worship, spirituality, outreach, education, and fellowship. Empowered by the Holy Spirit and nourished by Word and Eucharist, we seek a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ as we passionately share Christ's love with all people.

... Dear Brothers and Sisters, way too often I concentrate on all the many needs, and forget all the many blessings. Yes, we have many blessings here at STA. Consider for a moment our fine school and the religious education programs for children, teens and adults. Consider the great music which enhances our Liturgies. Consider our generous Outreach program, and the fine dinners we have that bring us together as a parish community. Consider the many people who bring the Eucharistic Christ to home, nursing home and hospital room. Consider all those who volunteer in some way to make so many good things happen (of course we always need more volunteers so people don`t get burned out). Yes, there are many blessings to celebrate. The celebration of and our participation in the Holy sacrifice of the Mass is at the heart of all we do. It is Jesus in the Eucharist Who shows us how to serve, and gives us strength to serve. So when you hear something in the Prayer of the Faithful about ?Time, Talent and Treasure?, think about your time, and your talent and your treasure and consider giving a little more of each to the service of Christ and His Church. Believe me, you will come to see and know the many blessings that I see and know are at work here at STA.
God bless you all. Love? Fr. Bruce, ofm

Please be reminded of our weather cancellation policy. On weekdays if school is cancelled, so are all parish events except daily Mass. Please note: Street parking only. Saturday evening, Sunday and holy day obligation Masses will never be cancelled, but parishioners should use their discretion in regards to the risk involved in coming to church. Other services, such as funerals, baptisms and weddings will be held at the discretions of the families involved. Also, weekend ice and snow conditions wreak havoc on our Sunday collections, which makes it more difficult for us to meet our expenses. Please try to make up for any missed collections.
